The increased life expectancy of populations worldwide has posed several challenges not only from a economic and societal perspective, but also from a health perspective. Many people of old age suffer from one or more diseases associated with ageing. Many of these diseases are hard to diagnose and even more difficult to treat. DNage scientists have discovered the biomedical background of the origin of many of these diseases and the Company has, since then, focused on the development of products for medical and health problems associated with ageing. The Company has several products under development (both pharmaceutical and nutritional) and has active programs in the field of premature ageing, osteoporosis and neurodegeneration (for example dementia).
